Professional Bio
I am a PhD candidate in Comparative Literature at the Pennsylvania State University, where I am completing my dissertation, Miraculous Economies: Confucian Values, Domesticity, and Transpacific Literature. My research focuses on the intersection between economy and culture across the transpacific in the twentieth century, tracing and unfolding connections between literary form, race, and economic development.
