Professional Bio
Pei-Chen Tsung (叢培臻) is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Arabic in the Department of Comparative Literature. Her teaching and research center on Arabic language pedagogy, classical Arabic literature, and Arabic rhetoric, with a particular focus on the theories of ʿAbd al-Qāhir al-Jurjānī. She is especially interested in how classical rhetorical thought informs literary expression and language instruction. Drawing from her background in both Arabic literary studies and language teaching, she designs inclusive, student-centered learning environments that bridge classical texts and contemporary pedagogical practices.
