Zhe Geng named 2014 Comparative Literature Department Student Marshal

Congratulations to Zhe Geng, who is the 2014 Student Marshal for the Department of Comparative Literature. Zhe is the daughter of Xuecang Geng and Ruiju Zhang of State College, Pennsylvania. A Paterno Fellow and Schreyer Scholar, she is graduating with degrees in English and Comparative Literature, and minors in Physics, French, and Violin Performance. Zhe completed a study abroad experience in France and has served as a research assistant to professors in Comparative Literature, French, and Physics. She served as a section violinist in the Penn State Philharmonic Orchestra, the Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra, the Willamsport Symphony, and the Nittany Valley Symphony, and is co-chair of the Schreyer Honors College Literary Committee. Zhe plans to pursue graduate studies after graduation.
