Congratulations to Molly Appel (Ph.D. 2018 in Comparative Literature, minor in Latin American Studies)

now Assistant Professor of English at Nevada State College (NSC), on receiving a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to develop a cross-disciplinary concentration in Intercultural Competency and Learning. The concentration will help students bridge humanities-based knowledge and skills related to cultural and linguistic competence, equity, and anti-racism, with NSC’s professionalized programs such as Education, Nursing, and Business.
