  1. BA in Art History and Japanese from Hunter College
  2. MA in Comparative Literature from Penn State University

Biography:

My interests lie in Japanese and Korean literature, material and visual culture. I specialize in kimono textiles, their circulation and material life in Europe, depictions of kimono in literature (East and West) and how kimono designers in premodern Japan use literary motifs in kimono design books (hinagatabon).
