Programs in Chinese

The Department offers a Chinese Minor, Chinese language courses (listed under CHNS), and Chinese literature and culture courses (listed under CMLIT in the University course catalogue). A major in Chinese is in the works, and we anticipate being able to offer a B.A. in Chinese in the next few years.

Stay off the grass

The Chinese program offers an annual Summer Intensive Language Institute in Chinese, as well as summer, fall, spring, and year-long education abroad programs in Taipei, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
