 The Japanese Minor

Description
All students who would like to study Japanese beyond the basic level are invited to consider this minor. The minor in Japanese is intended to provide students with a good working knowledge of the Japanese language, taught in a context that emphasizes the characteristics of Japanese culture and society. Students undertake three years of language study (or equivalent); study abroad can be included.

Admission
Forms for "Admission to a Minor Program" can be obtained in 311 Burrowes Building. You should then make an appointment to see Kimiko Suzuki, the advisor for the minor, in N431 Burrowes Building. You can reach her via e-mail at kzs12@psu.eduor via phone at 863-0199. She will help you to complete the form and answer any questions you might have concerning the minor. After obtaining your advisor's signature, return the form to the department.
