Robert Lima


Editorships

As an editor, Robert Lima has issued Surrealism--A Celebration, the papers of the international event he organized to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the movement, as a special volume of The Journal of General Education (1975). He edited and designed two homage issues, one of Luso-Brazilian Review (1978) and another Homenaje a/Tribute to Martha T. Halsey (1995), co- revised The Reader's Encyclopedia of American Literature (1962), and was a contributing editor to The McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of World Drama (1972).  He is the editor and a contributor to a special issue of Cauda Pavonis, Studies in Hermeticism, published in Fall 2000, in honor of the surrealist painter Leonora Carrington.  He has served on the editorial boards of university presses and professional journals, including Lexis: Revista de Linguística y Literatura (Peru), Minority Voices, Modern International Drama, Estreno,Crítica Hispánica, Symposium, Journal of the Fantastic in the Arts.
