Senate Guide to Curricular Procedures

How to create and get approval for a new course, change an exisiting course, and create or modify a curriculum.

Faculty Senate Policies for Students:

Almost everything, in policy format, about how to be a teacher or a student at Penn State: policy on academic integrity, responsibility of advisor, how to assign grades, how to change majors, and much more.

Senate Curriculum Reports:

Also called the "Blue Sheets", these documents list approved and rejected course and curricula proposals and proposal still under consideration as of the last meeting of the Senate Committee on Curricular Affairs.

Undergraduate Degree Programs Bulletin:

Also called the Blue Book, this is an absolutely essential reference for faculty members and undergraduate students.  It used to be distributed free to every faculty member, I have heard that the 2004-2005 version is the last one to be printed.  The Blue Book is written and edited by the Senate.

Graduate Degree Programs Bulletin:

Also called the White Book, this is the graduate degree counterpart to the Blue Book.
